cooking sites, and all kinds of other things.
I'll be adding other links as I find them, and if you know
of an interesting site, please e-mail it to me.  I'm always
looking for different things to see and do on the internet.

Arts & Entertainment

Recently, my husband and I went to see "Lord of the Dance" onstage.  It is truly one of the greatest gifts that entertainment has to offer.  Check out their website and see what it's all about, if you don't happen to know already!!  If you can't manage to obtain tickets to one of their shows, do yourself a great favor and at least rent it on video....

Music

You're sitting there at your computer, talking to your favorite online person.  Feel like listening to some music together?  I have a friend who makes Friday nights "date night".  She and her online buddy choose songs together, count to three, then click on the same song at the same time...and then they can hear the same song from their respective states....don't laugh, it works!  :-)

 Once you're there, go about halfway down the page, and you'll see her jukboxes listed.  You can listen to blues, oldies, 50's music, and "smooth as satin" music.  You'll need RealPlayer to listen to them, but if you haven't yet downloaded it, there's a place on her site to go to in order to get it for free!  This site is a "must try!"

Keenan's Wonderful World of Music

This is Keenan.  One click on his picture takes you to his wonderful world of music.  Play them one by one as you choose them, or you can opt to hear them all in a continuous play.  It's a special place to go for great music.  Listen to your favorites while you surf the web in style!
You'll need RealPlayer to hear all selections, but Keenan shows you how to get that, too!

I love this gentleman.  His cuisine is outstanding.  His site offers so much:  special recipes, tips and tricks to help you out in the kitchen, and you can even e-mail him to let him know you've been to his site.  Join his fan club!  Take a look at his catalog!  You'll be glad you visited his corner of the web.  It's a very special place!

This gentleman presents a site to all of you men...how to prepare great meals for a woman, and he gives his thoughts on courtship and how to "woo" a lady.  Ben Helms is a teacher
and really knows his stuff when it comes to the kitchen!!

The link below is for "Nancy's Kitchen".  She's got more recipes, nutritional information, and just plain great stuff than you can shake a stick at!   She includes recipes for diabetics, recipes for folks on low-fat diets, recipes for just about anything you could ever possibly
want!!  Nancy has one of the nicest cooking sites I've seen.  You just gotta check her out!

Anita's Recipe Oasis

Anita's place is just lovely, and she's got a lot to offer!  You'll feel "at home"
with her right away!   It's definitely one of the best on the net.  Remember
to sign her guest book to let her know you stopped by!  Don't forget to
bookmark her site and stop by often to see what's new there....

BuddyPhone is a great way to talk to family and friends across the entire planet for free!!  Download it for free, use it for free!
This is my favorite way to communicate with folks right now.  It works especially well with ICQ, but you can also use e-mail addresses if you're not on ICQ.  Talk to anyone, anywhere, anytime on this internet phone.  All you need is a microphone and a headset, and you'll be off and running in a matter of minutes.
I talk to a good friend in Australia every week via Buddyphone, and I can tell you first-hand, the clarity is excellent and it almost sounds like you're talking to someone in the next town.  There's a bit of a delay, but for the price you pay (nothing!), it's well worth it!!  

Voice Mail

Ok, so you wish you could send voice mail but don't have the means to do it.  Here's a free program that you can download directly from the site, install it to your hard drive, and send anyone a voice mail either via the program itself or through e-mail.  It's easy and fun.  Your friends and family will be able to hear you speak to them instead of just read their e-mail.  I have a great time with this.

Just click on "RocketTalk", and you'll be there in a flash!

If you enjoy meeting people and playing games, try Hoyle.  You'll find board games, card games, arcade games and casino games.... listed here are many, but if you go to their site, you'll find just about everything.
