(You may need to maximize your screen to view entire page) For this week's meal, I chose pasta. This recipe is fairly easy to make, doesn't take a lot of preparation time, and is wonderful enough to serve to family or company!!
Entree Pasta Primavera 12 oz. uncooked fettuccine or linguine Cook pasta according to package directions. Prepare Alfredo Sauce (recipe follows), and stir sauce
into vegetable mixture. Drain pasta, then stir the pasta into the sauce. Heat
completely through. Sprinkle your favorite grated cheese over top.
Alfredo Sauce 1/2 cup butter Heat butter and cream in a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until butter is melted. Stir in cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Serve over pasta.
(This meal is excellent, served with your favorite garlic bread and a side salad!)
Dessert Cherry Crisp 2 21-oz. cans cherry pie filling Pour pie filling into pan. In separate bowl, mix remaining ingredients, and pour evenly, over top of the cherry filling. Bake about 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
Beverage Suggestion: Sparkling Citrus Punch 1 cup cold water Mix all ingredients in a pitcher. Service over
ice.
